racist? How so? Not defending him, quite frankly I don't know a lot about him but how is he racist?

I broke out the google operator and found one article calling him a racist because he questioned the origin of Obamas birth certificate. Doesnt make him racist, just retarded.

fermun - 2009-11-11

Mostly because of his stance on immigration.

Hence The Onion's obvious joke.

Just Googling "lou dobbs racist" spawns a bevy of articles unrelated to his birther theories.

Aside from making up facts regularly to blame social ills on immigration, my favorite of his conniptions is his hatred of all "ethnic" holidays, which includes Jewish holidays, but strangely not Christmas. I assume he can't drive by an IHOP without being overcome by rage.

MrBuddy - 2009-11-12

Lou Dobbs, Clarence Thomas, Colon Powell, Condoleezza Rice... all Conservatives are racists.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-11-12

I find your disrespect of Colin Powell to be highly racist.

dead_cat - 2009-11-12

No, he's disrespecting ColOn Powell, Colin Powell's half-brother and infamous taxidermist of minorities.

memedumpster - 2009-11-12

Not to be confused with Colin Powell, the tool who scared us all with a little vial of bullshit so lots of people could go be slaughtered for Bush, then felt guilty about it once he had no more power or consequences. Colons are respectable things.

It is perfectly understandable. After all, the Mexicans shot his wife!

Well, shot at his wife.

Well, shot at the roof of his house from a great distance, not even breaking the tile.

Well, probably hunters in the park his house is next too.

Look, the point is, that it was them immigents I tells ya! Even when it was shooting at bears, I knew it was them all along.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-11-11

"lack of true representation"

Remember all the phone tapping, Lou? That was so the government could figure out what we like. Now they're doing it. Jesus Christ. Even when it was like scandal after scandal I still wasn't stupid enough to believe that no one was being represented...half of the country are shitbags, and even calling my half a shitbag would be preferable to acting like we don't exist.

memedumpster - 2009-11-11

Uhm... we, uh, DID put a tracking device in him... right? We, er, DO know where he is... right?

dead_cat - 2009-11-12

The tracking device was intended for neural implantation. Looking back, that was not the best of ideas.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-11-12

Fade away, dirtbag.

Rovin - 2009-11-12

Lou Dobbs one day, Shep Shepherd's replacement the next, perhaps?

mon666ster - 2009-11-12

This reminds me of how back in the 90's WWF wrestlers would lose a career match and then reappear in WCW a few months later.

I think it's safe to say he's not going to MSNBC.

MongoMcMichael - 2009-11-12

So who's the big-name conservative pundit left on CNN?

Fox News is, well, Fox News, and MSNBC has Joe Scarborough, Pat Buchanan, Michael Smerconish, and occasionally P.J. O'Rourke. Is Tucker Carlson back on CNN, or are they essentially without an in-house right winger?
