I almost feel like I want to look up Thor Aackerlund and see what he's doing these days.
Oh, look at that, he's totally on Facebook. Of COURSE he's on Facebook. Ha ha, I have more friends than the world Nintendo champion.
The number of friends on facebook is inversely proportional to the amount of a life one has.

I once decided to look this guy up online when hunting down the legendary Ace Ebb, Nintendo Master, and it seems like if you say Thor Ackerlund in front of a webpage ten times while spinning around, dude will show up to reminisce about his glory days.
So he really did think all the Camerica games save Micro Machines were total pieces of shit, and has the social graces you'd expect from a Nintendo World Champion. No surprises, I guess.
I also found fashion plate, linguist, and PROFESSIONAL VIDEO GAME PLAYER Jamie Bunker on that search, but that is a story for another time.
In case it wasn't clear, I am referring to the one where he wearing a clubbin' shirt and hoisting something that is attempting to resemble a human female...in a supermarket.
