My train of thought, summarized: They're exclusive to Home Shopping Club? Really? ho....OH MY GOD LOOK AT THE RAT TAIL ON THAT LITTLE KID. Oh my god, oh my god. Ha ha, she just called the world champion of nintendo "a grown kid." Okay, so seriously, how did they get an exclusivity deal on a video game?

I think it's a not-licensed-by-Nintendo cartridge & it would not surprise me if Nintendo didn't allow other retailers to sell them.

It wasn't. For some reason, Micro Machines (despite being a surprisingly good racing game) never got approved or went through Nintendo approval. I can't remember the name of the company off-hand, but they put out these carts that were not the standard size of official NES games, and they were this ugly color. They never quite fit in my machine right and I always had to sort of jam them in to get them to work.

Aladdin. Their entire business model was based on circumventing Nintendo's licensee lockout in as cost-effective a way as possible.

I have two of their "deck enhancers."

I think they were affiliated with Galoob in some way. Galoob made Micro Machines and the Game Genie.

You know for a fact your kid is going to school.

He's the Nintendo World Champion, so that must logically mean he has played every video game ever made.

Even if he'd never touched one, his name is still freakin' Thor, so I think we can trust him.

Every word out of her mouth is gold. What is TOOTIE? A brand X Game Genie? We will never know.
