Ads like this are bad simply because they don't get the point across to someone who is barely paying attention. If this came on TV while you were watching live, you'd look up because tits, and possibly hear Reebok or see the logo. You'd probably think it was an ad for Reebok ladies underwear. And that's just guys... women, the target audience, would pay it even less attention.

they use to sell these weight loss "things you put in your shoe" (I'm to lazy to look up the exact term fuck off!) on the home shopping programs a while back, can't believe this whole concept made it in to main-stream advertising bullshit.

I couldn't resist indulging my fetish for bashing poorly designed research, so I looked this study up. It's excruciatingly bad even for product-driven research: 5 subjects, and only 500 steps each. No surprise, but still hilarious if you're amused by that sort of thing.
