I think I saw it on google video. Even though I'm not much of a fan of his, it is a pretty amazing and heartbreaking documentary.

I like Bukowski's work and I credit him as one of my chief important authors in terms of influence on my life, but that said, I think he is largely overrated. He's cool, but the exaggerated fascination with his life as if it was something awesome has always bothered me. His novels are more interesting than his poetry, for sure.

The romance of the bottle-type authors always attract a certain kind of guy who goes, "Do you like Bukowski?" at parties, and then everything goes downhill from there.
