I concur, professor.

It saddens me to see people who don't know what logical fallacies are arguing against people who do because such people don't know how wrong they are.

What the fuck is that guy laughing at the entire time? Couldn't they have found an adult to debate the scientist instead?

Desidiosus - 2009-12-07

The man calls it as he sees it.

What's striking to me is how conservatives and the far right kept saying there was no consensus in climate science on AGW.

And now they've almost immediately switched to admitting there is a consensus, but now the consensus has to be wrong.

I really wonder who's pulling the levers and blowing the smoke behind the curtains on this one.

Big energy?

(just a wild guess)

Welcome to the North American debate, professor. Hope you have an allcaps button in your larynx.

His last name is "Moron-o".

This is going to come across kind of conspiracy-ish, but if you wanted to discredit a position the English speaking world, a very good way to do it would be to have a shouty American represent to pro side.

That said, stolen e-mails that no-one has actually read being treated like there the goddamn unredacted watergate tapes of climate change malfeasance is pretty sickening, and good for the professor for sticking to the point.

I kept waiting for it, and there it was, and it was GOOD.

takewithfood - 2009-12-08

That is a terrible disguise, Richard Dawkins.

The God of Biscuits - 2009-12-08

What about those glassiers?

dickshapedfood - 2009-12-08

It's interesting to watch an American pundit go on a real news show where the arbitrator is focused on the story, not the ratings or some manufactured concept that both sides of an argument must be treated as equally valid in order to avoid political bias.

So what do you call 2:27 - 2:47?
