Is this a dupe or is there ANOTHER republican who denied anything bad ever happened under bush?
Cena_mark - 2010-01-09 Right and I posted a similar remark about how what they meant to say was that "after 911 there were no domestic attacks under Bush." 911 was the game changer and after it Bush did what was necessary to keep terror out of our shores.
The media likes to make a big deal out of these flubs because they'll do whatever they can to destroy opposition to Obama.

Cena_mark - 2010-01-09 And Obama is Muslim. Remember when he said "My Muslim faith" in an interview.

Cena_mark - 2010-01-09 I haven't cried since the election, but I'll still call out lieberal media lies when I see them.

I know it's traditional to rewrite history to suit the modern world (Columbus was a hero, Jesus existed, black people had an unfair advantage in society, etc) but they should at least wait until everyone alive then is actually dead.
I can't wait until accusations of being a 9-11 denier becomes the popular way of winning arguments with neocons, especially in the upcoming midterm elections. I especially would like to see the memes "teabagger" and "9-11 denier" become synonymous.

baumer - 2010-01-09 I think the historicity of Jesus is pretty widely agreed upon, actually, even by creepy evil atheists (satanists).
This is not to say that there is much solid historical reference for his ability to raise the dead or fly*, but there was probably a kra-azy dude named Senor Jesucristo running around at or about that time.

The lieberal media is making too big a deal out of this slip up. We all know that Giuliani knows tht 911 happened under Bush's watch. But 911 was the game changer and Bush made sure no terror attacks in the U.S. happened beyond that. Obama becomes president and has all the anti-terror advantages beset by Bush, and he snubs them. Well the terror is coming our way once again and its because of Obama's touchy feely way of fighting terror.
memedumpster - 2010-01-09 Except Richard Reid, Anthrax (the powder, not the band), the DC sniper... There's also a clip somewhere of Don Giuliani saying the shoe bomber happened before 9-11. He's become an Orwellian parody.
It's not your fault Republicans are imploding and becoming less defensible than a Kent State drum circle on National Guard Day. It's okay to abandon them for letting you down, no one saw this level of dumb coming. No one.

Cena_mark - 2010-01-09 Okay Clencher you're right. But in this war on terror we're really just talking about Islamic terrorism. It could be called the war on Islamic Terror, but Muslims would complain. We're not talking about extreme pro-life terrorism or IRA terror. But Obama has allowed Islamic terror to take place in the U.S. once again.
the_clencher - 2010-01-10 Do you think this may illustrate the absurdity of a war on Islamic terror? You can't stop crazy no matter what their skin colour/faith/nationality/belief might be. You can try and mitigate it as much as possible, but to do so while also depriving rights and freedoms is not the way to do it.
I don't really look forward to flying ever again because I know if grandpa gets locked in the bathroom and gets confused, they will be sending two F-16's and re routing the plane causing a huge delay. Now if it's grandpa Mohammad, I hope they do land the plane, because you know how crafty them brownies are.
Also it's not like Obama sewed the bomb in that guys underwear. What sort of proof can you cite that puts him at fault directly? I mean, other than that he's a closet Muslim from some podunk African country.

Maybe, but the difference between when Bush allowed terrorism to happen in America and when Obama allowed it to happen (I assume you are referring to the Christmas Day bomber) is that a.) Nobody died on the Christmas Day attack and b.) Obama owned up to his mistake in being too lax.
tamago - 2010-01-09 Shit, that was meant to be a reply to Cena_mark.
