I love the fact that he doesn't play the verses any different from the choruses, and that the riff is actually the guitar riff, not the bassline. It's like he just figured out that notes can be strung together, and happened upon this song as a way to demonstrate it.

also i just noticed there are 2 other guitars next to that music stand. perhaps we are underestimating his range, he could be a classically trained...nah, he's just a fat dude in a dorm, huh?

Also, they tend to play louder than the sound of their hands moving over the strings.

Everyone's got to start somewhere, so if I didn't know better I would refrain from criticizing his music skills. But he's just terrible at everything, from eating, to critical thinking, to deciding whether or not to videotape his failures. He's even a skinhead. What an asshole.

That's my justification here.

I mean, I know that he's trying, and he's probably new (and as a musician I support new musicians learning), but why in the hell would a grown man put this video on youtube?! That's something a 14 year old would do and take down a year later when he realized how bad it was.

He's not doing bad at all, assuming he's been playing bass for less than a month and has never played another musical instrument.
