It's actually better in every way, no fooling. Though I wish the planetary scanner was more sensitive, you don't have to wander around on a million moons anymore.
Honest Response: Yes you should get it, as Urburos said it is pretty much better in every way. That said though the only downsides iv seen are no more mods (though you do have Upgrades, but there aren't as many compared to the first games amount of mods) and characters don't have as many abilities to learn as in the first, but both are pretty minor complaints really. I find the dialogue/voice acting has improved since the first one.
Subject Zero aside, the game is fucking incredible as a continuation of what ME1 was. It's probably one of the most satisfying game sequels in a very long time.
Your interactions with Subject Zero can be minimal. And you get to bitch with the crew about how much everyone dislikes her. But her background story really explains why she is such a mess. AND she has a facehugger tattoo.
She isn't as awful as the trailer showcased her. Still, not worth taking out of the ship when the other characters are more charming and funny.
