I think that the most interesting part of that ad is that people actually elect a coroner somewhere.
Coroner is an elected position in a lot of places. an appointed coroner can buy his position making things like that ad mentioned easier. My town elects a coroner, i'm not sure there is even a medical license required so i was planning on running one of these years.

Well, its a very serious position. The bodies kinda pile up around here. Plus, someone selling the organs of the mostly healthy (albeit dead) young black men that come through the coroner's office doesn't surprise me.

Louisiana is a bizarre magical fairy-tale land filled with hobgoblins of corruption and barely coherent government.

Oh, I just hate it when they have nothing to do but sling mud at each other.

Who knew that the New Orleans coroner's race could be so competitive?

The US is stuck in a negative politics, arms race. Both sides think if they stop they'll loose, so they try to out do each other in the nastiness of their distortions and lies. Not enough people here are stepping up and saying, "@#$%!! it if you don't work together I'm voting you out of office!" so it just continues to spiral out of control with more attacks all the time.
Welcome to America. Is this your first visit?

I could only go four stars because I was really hoping that a homosexual-necrophilia accusation might be unleashed.
"For Sale" clinched it for me.

I was also hoping he'd be waving a fetus.

I misread this as "Commercial for New World Order crooners collection"
