We asked someone to make something that looks vaguely like what we wanted to see based on an aerial view. The great bit of evidence is, if you look underneath that structure, you can see it's actually not touching the ground. Amazing.

It goes without saying that Hoagland is a nutcase, who claims that NASA has been covering up evidence of alien civilizations on the Moon, Mars and certain moons of Juptier and Saturn. Also, JFK was assassinated by those in the government opposed to his offer to Kruschev in regards to a joint US-USSR manned lunar mission.

Also in his book "Dark Mission" he claims that NASA has been manipulated from within by agents of secret socities, bent on covering up evidence of alien life while pursuing their own obessions with mysticism...or something.

The car crashed? Clearly Mars does NOT need women.

That other opinion being presenting the same discovery, but now in 3D movie form!

I am truly fascinated by people like this. First because they honestly think they're doing real science, and second because of how their mind works. What kind of brain process must their be to look at some kind of blurry image and from a few shades of grey suddenly have an advanced glass travel tunnel with car wrecked car inside? I'd honestly love to drop some blurred greyscale photo of some place on earth and see what he makes of it when he's told it's from Mars.

With the stuff the two Mars rovers have found lately, Nasa has figured that there was probably ice maybe an inch below where Viking had dug back in the 70's. Had they actually touched and revealed that ice back then, its is quite probable that we'd be walking on Mars right now, because the funding spigot would have been let wide open in light of such a discovery.

So yes, I am sure that Nasa would go to elaborate lengths to hide actual evidence of life and artificial structures, because really what could they have to gain from that.

I became a "fan" of Mr. Hoagland on Facebook after seeing an excellent special about 2012 one night in which he was prominently featured. The wall posts and comments and what not (from himself and from fans) are great stuff.
