Samuel L. Jackson doesn't so much chew the scenery in this film as he beomces a "black hole" of hamminess; no scenery can escape his gravitational pull.

There is one truly good bit in this movie and the clip screws it up. The Octopus injects a cat with something and kills it, and he says something to Colt like, "Was that cool or what?!"

So Colt looks up at him, serious as the grave, and responds, "... the cat. She is all the reason I need. I will kill you."

And Octopus just stares at him, completely stunned and a little hurt by this reaction. But they cut the reaction shot!

Can someone please explain how black Nazis make sense, as well as Samuel L. Jackson's preoccupation with eggs?

Not even Samuel L. Jackson doing this movie for shits n' giggles can make it good.

I never thought a cat melting down to its eyeballs would be hilarious. I was wrong. What the FUCK is this movie supposed to be about?

Come on, admit it, this movie would be GREAT if it wasn't about one of the most prestigious and universally admired comic book characters in American history.

Frank Miller's "Squiddly Diddly", however, would've been about appropriate for his level of enthusiasm.
