Caminante Nocturno - 2010-03-08

Shows like this one had a unique pattern to their openings that set them apart from the rest of TV.

socialist_hentai - 2010-03-08

Like Sliders, Babylon 5, psi Factor...

Candlejackv616 - 2010-03-08

To be fair Sliders was a pretty decent show up till they went where all sci-fi shows go to die (or be milked bone dry) the sci fi channel...pardon its now the "sy-fy" channel...what a crock of shit.

I mean the whole thing with his long lost brother and then fucking parallel dimension traveling aliens(who eat eyes if I remember correctly?), I'm surprised they didn't do a crossover episode with Stargate.

socialist_hentai - 2010-03-08

Sliders kicked ass up until Kari Whurer left, and Jerry O'connell tried to shoe-horn in his hack brother.

Also: They weren't aliens they were hiper-evolved neanderthals.

Candlejackv616 - 2010-03-08

Really? hyper evolved neanderthals!? Goddamn that's even stupider than I remember.

Yeah your right about the brother thing, who I always felt looked alot like a genetically "off" or retarded version of O' Connell himself.

memedumpster - 2010-03-08

This show tried really hard.

themilkshark - 2010-03-08

I hated those ugly ass aliens.

Candlejackv616 - 2010-03-08

Roddenberry aliens were always such pussy's.

Camonk - 2010-03-08

When everyone thought Roddenberry's shit didn't stink.

Xenocide - 2010-03-08

And by "Created by Gene Roddenberry," we mean "based off a random sentence fragment Gene wrote on the back of a bar napkin one night which was later discovered by his wife after he'd been dead for years and she was looking for new ideas of his to sell for a quick buck."

Alternate tagline: "From the man who brought you Wesley Crusher and Space Abe Lincoln!"

memedumpster - 2010-03-08

How can you diss Space Lincoln?

StanleyPain - 2010-03-09

What the fuck was this show about? I remember watching a couple episodes and I couldn't figure it out at all. Aliens contact humanity, but they obviously have some weird, ulterior motive, yet a bunch of humans willingly help the aliens with their weird shit so long as there are vague, mustache-twirling promises that the aliens are SWEAR TO GOD not up to anything weird.

It greatly confused me.

Candlejackv616 - 2010-03-09

Welcome to every episode of this shit I ever watched, constant perpetual confusion.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2010-03-09

I liked this show precisely for the reasons outlined by StanleyPain. As a 13 year old who never seen Alien Nation or V, the first few episodes it had this pretty cool sense of mystery and paranoia. The aliens had some mystical hippie ideas but they were more-or-less amoral about humanity and fuck you this show was great.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-03-11

This show made no sense whatsoever. It eventually became about the aliens needing to reproduce but they couldn't so they merged and evolved to become a bunch of neandertals. Space neandertals. It ranks as amongst the dumbest shows of all time.

GravidWithHate - 2010-03-10

I watched this a few times. The one thing I remember was that all the aliens had names with apostrophes in them, and their merchandise selling website was called the st'or.

DK1987 - 2010-05-15

V has the same premise as this, except it has lizards instead of these bald headed hos.
