At 1:32, I wondered why they were wearing such goofy outfits.

Then, the video answered.

Maggot Brain - 2010-03-16

Oh No! Maggie Gyllenhaal is lost in the Uncanny Valley.

Riskbreaker - 2010-03-16

I was going to submit this one, this is Shenmue level of writting right there.

Candlejackv616 - 2010-03-16

I dunno its not THAT bad. Personally I like this game, silly at times but fun, plus those dutch kids are fucking funny if not odd as hell through most of the game.

Riskbreaker - 2010-03-18

They seem to be trying to be the next Palom and Porom, but way too hard.

oogaBooga - 2010-03-16

I will continue infinitely undiscovering how terrible this game is.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-03-16

Bulbed.

Goethe and ernie - 2010-03-16

As if they actually wanted to punish you for playing.

RomancingTrain - 2010-03-16

This is one of the only JRPGs I couldn't finish, and I beat Star Ocean 3. I don't know if I'm Getting Too Old For This Shit or if this is just the worst generation for the genre.

Riskbreaker - 2010-03-16

There are good japanese rpgs, mostly for handhelds these days. This is the most tediously generic title you could pick today.

Sudan no1 - 2010-03-16

JRPG conventions work better with more primitive graphics, they are having a really, really awkward transition into HD graphics. (My nerd theory)

Riskbreaker - 2010-03-16

If the title alone doesn't warn you, nothing will. Seriously Infinite Undiscovery? Sounds like a rejected title for a discovery channel special of the making of Avatar.

APE_GOD - 2010-03-16

INIFINITTO ANDUSUKABARI.

Explodotron - 2010-03-16

That damn dance made me choke on my Twizzler Flavor Ropes.

Syd Midnight - 2010-03-16

What is this shit

poorwill - 2010-03-16

Garbage.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2010-03-16

So about 90% of this video consists of the usual anime tap-dancing around sex or the discussion of food.

Must've been an exciting game if this is the reward you get for playing.

Squeamish - 2010-03-16

Oh god. I'm already rooting for the villain, and I don't even know who or what he is yet.

nemeses9 - 2010-03-16

I bought this game and couldn't keep myself playing it because the battle system bored the shit out of me. That, and the voice acting is particularly awful from what I played of it.

Also it should be noted that SquareEnix did not develop this game, they just distributed it (in the same fashion that Disney does not make Pixar films, just distributes them with their logo on it).

RomancingTrain - 2010-03-17

It was made by Tri-Ace who, surprise, surprise, make the Star Ocean games.

jyrque - 2010-03-17

Why do JRPGs have the most atrocious scene directing? Any given scene just jammers on and on with most of the time spent watching characters twitch and sway awkwardly. Add to that grunts and sighs that permeate the voicework and ridicilous, linefiller dialogue and you've got yourself an average 21st century Japanese RPG.

I hope Resonance of Fate manages to sell even mediocrely well in the west so Japanese devs would realize the value of gameplay over shitty cutscenes.

klingerbgoode - 2012-07-06

fun fact, resonance of fate was made by the same clowns who made this

Squeamish - 2010-03-22

SET THEM ON FIRE

klingerbgoode - 2012-07-06

Next time I'm gonna make you a snack
