Even though anyone with half a brain knows that the bill doesn't work this way, I don't see what the big deal is. Killing off the hyperelderly and unwanted children? Sounds like a great way to deal with overpopulation, urban sprawl, unemployment, etc.

When wild animals know they're about to die, they head off into the woods to do it so that they don't take any resources away from the younger and healthier animals.
