I like to imagine that this woman now supports herself entirely off of Maru ad revenues and stud fees.

She did Publish a book about Maru.
Also a DVD. And Maru's blog (more ad revenue) has been running since 2007 when he was almost still a kitten. It has somewhere around 500 entries so far.
