My friend works for a Kirkland bottled water plant. The bottled water plant just bottles water straight from the tap, but the real kicker is that they don't even pay for that water. They have a deal with the city that they get the water for free in exchange for the jobs they bring into the community. The city also payed for the construction of the plant and after years are still in debt because of it.

The only bottled water I ever buy is Perrier or something carbonated about once a month to curb my urges for carbonated drinks. As a diabetic downing sugary pop will do me in and the sugar-free variety are questionable.
