I don't know how many people are part of this "free rice club," but if it took them more than a month to raise seventy goddamn dollars, they needn't have bothered.
Maybe I'm being overcritical, but I feel like it's a bad sign when the collaborative effort of a group of people over (I assume) several months can be matched by one guy walking to a restaurant supply store with less money than someone would make on minimum wage. working part time, in two days.
Well, I guess he just better get his crippled ass up and find a job. That or use all of the excess money left over after his medical expenses to write a blank check to Liberia. Maybe he can pawn off that ventilator...
