For what it's worth, this clip make this show seem more harmless and cute than anything.

Maybe some indication that they were being harmed somehow would be more effective anti-whatever-this-is?

The clip itself is not, but it was used primarily by people decrying what they see as animal abuse. I'm not sure this is any worse than any zoo, but whatever.
