As far as I'm concerned, this is what actually happened.

When I first saw Tetris in the mid-80s and there was all the stuff about how this game came from Russia, I imagined that it was some sort of traditional puzzle game played with physical puzzle pieces, and further I imagined this being played by stereotypical downtrodden old fat women wearing babushkas. Because, OBVIOUSLY, they don't have computers in Russia.

This is the best thing I have seen all day.

I'll admit, I can be pretty easy. A Tetris song by itself would have gotten a five. A Russian history song would have also merited a five. As would anything involving such cool photography.

But combining all three just makes this one of the best damn things I ever did see.

A friend of mine had an interesting navy history. I asked him if we could beat Russia, "How the fuck can you destroy a people who believe they have nothing to lose?"
