A friend of mine is a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and has every episode of this on one of his hard drives. We tried watching this episode but couldn't stand it and watched the Asylum Sherlock Holmes movie instead.
If Sherlock Holmes were transported to the 22nd century he'd be devoting the better part of his unequaled analytical skill to hiding his cocaine from the all-seeing State
I remember this show's basic premise involved Holmes solving crimes that were basically original Holmes short stories adapted for...THE FUTURE! Like how the "Blue Carbuncle" was the name of a line wisecracking talking dolls that were the center of a Tickle-Me-Elmo craze for the 22nd century leading Holmes to lament awkwardly about how commercialized Future Christmas was.
When I was living in residence during my first year of college I watched the shit out of this show, it was one of the only things my TV picked up. I've probably half paid attention, while I was writing on my computer, to every single episode of this show (all four). I remember watching a lot of utter trash at the time (I can't really work properly without background noise, and I use TV for this a lot) but the only show I remember is this one.
