Soon we'll be living high and wide.

RedHood - 2010-09-10

What these two fashion fags truly meant to say was: "This is really just an Ikea commercial disguised as some deep existential experiment, but with cats in it; because you know everyone loves cats."

phalsebob - 2010-09-10

Mild animal abuse for commercial ends. I guess that's 5 for inane evil.

kamlem - 2010-09-10

BOOM!

Udderdude - 2010-09-10

50% off all store furniture that was peed on.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-09-10

The people in this commercial ruined it.

fulakarp - 2010-09-10

I don't see why they had to frame this as an "experiment" rather than just footage of cats running around an Ikea. If someone just posted "100 Cats running around Ikea" on youtube it would get crazy hits.

Urkel Forever - 2010-09-10

"This is an experiment to determine whether you know uh if cats will uh do uh things in a store if uh there are um a bunch of them."

Timothy A. Bear - 2010-09-10

The cats appeared lost and apprehensive but could not buy anything.

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2010-09-10

So, wait... they did this for shits and giggles?

"I know! Let's drop about a hundred cats into an Ikea store and watch them!"

"Sounds good. Let's do it."

RocketBlender - 2010-09-10

That idea sounds pretty awesome. I'd sure like to watch a bunch of footage of that instead of a bunch of footage of people talking about it.

fulakarp - 2010-09-12

exactly. more cats, less people seeming astonished at their own experience

rroach - 2010-09-10

Its a viral video that is 2/3's making of documentary.

Old_Zircon - 2010-09-12

Yeah, this would have been good if it was someone catching a bunch of strays and somehow smuggling them in and releasing them during business hours, which is what I hoped it would be.

This is just viral trash they payed a firm to bump up into the Youtube top 20 by spamming Facebook.

Influence Device TIMR - 2010-09-11

this is criminally irresponsible

one star

FABIO - 2010-09-12

Seriously. What kind of dipshit does this?

It took some dipshit marketing executive to put "viral" + "cat videos" together and come up with this shitty irresponsible plan.

It took some dipshit store manager to agree to put their employees through cleaning up cat piss and shit, and god knows how much damaged merchandise.

It took some MAJOR dipshit cat owners to agree to put their pet in danger by letting them loose in a fucking IKEA with god knows how many hazards, not to mention the threat of fights with other cats (did they check them all for FIV beforehand?), all so they could be sub-reality TV celebrities for 2 seconds.

Fuck everyone involved

FABIO - 2010-09-12

and holy shit, what a bunch of fucking IKEA plants in the youtube comments.

sheikurbouti - 2010-09-11

I'm convinced. Most of you twats would go all blubbery over a kitten scampering through a ditch of feces and rancid human remains. Kittens are evil. Kittens win!

Herr Matthias - 2010-09-11

A mildly entertaining concept ruined by a bunch of longwinded boring assholes talking about their brilliant mildly entertaining concept.

I think I've seen that before, like at http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=52124

glendower - 2010-09-11

This was a good idea, but they didn't take it far enough. They should have released at least 4,000 cats in the Ikea store.

ProfessorChaos - 2010-09-11

Or over 9000. For sheer meme-ishness.

erratic - 2010-09-11

fake. the cats eventually got out of the ikea

numb - 2010-09-13

needs more cats, less people
