This is an age old complaint: If you are an established comic, don't end on the joke that gets the most applause, end on the joke where you were done with your point. Louis clearly ends when the audience reacts to a joke, not when the story ends, or when they get the message of his shpiel.

My favorite comedians have all done this because ending when the audience demands is good for your career, it's just bad for a story.
