I'm guessing Uli never played stuff like Battletoads or anything else that doesn't require hours of mindless grinding? Or that is not a plataformer with absurd jumping controls.
They are coming out with a 4th one. From what I have heard, you can get an transdimensional pirate ship that lets you invade another person's saved game.
Disgaea is a decent game, but it seems to bring out the aspergian in so many people. I had a friend who also lost his way and became obsessed with leveling his weapons in the game (which is done by "going inside" the weapons and fighting battles whilst inside the weapons)
It sold me entirely on charm. I found the actual gameplay pretty dry. Combat felt more like Tetris where the only thing that ever changed was higher numbers and the shape of your area attack.
I look upon this video with shame at my time spent across all the Disgaea games, which could easily have been used to raise at least one child to adulthood.
