Missing Yakkity Sax, but 5 for the Final Countdown

SolRo - 2010-11-23

5 for this, extra 5 for that poor guy walking up afterwords.

Udderdude - 2010-11-23

That guy's got a helluva set of pipes.

chumbucket - 2010-11-23

all creative credit due to Blue Man Group

Old_Zircon - 2010-11-23

Fuck Blue Man Group.

kingarthur - 2010-11-23

The ending made it five stars.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2010-11-23

I recommend you listen to this with a decent set of speakers or headphones as I was about to one star it after trying to hear it over the fans on a crappy Toshiba laptop.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2010-11-23

Shit that wasn't meant as a reply =(

kingofthenothing - 2010-11-23

Why did everyone cheer when he started playing music from super mario brothers? aren't these people in college? wouldn't they have been sperm when super mario brothers came out? god, now i feel old.

Also, he didn't invent this thing. I've seen similar last time i was at a science center with my nephew. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, just that it's not his idea.

simon666 - 2010-11-23

"Invents" ----> "Builds"

spikestoyiu - 2010-11-23

They also cheer "Linus and Lucy", "Like A Virgin", and "Crazy Train". All of which are technically "before their time".

freedoom - 2010-11-23

Thanks Simon, i retract that part of my comment.

Xiphias - 2010-11-23

mario games still use the mario music

kennydra - 2010-11-23

people still play original super mario bros.

kingofthenothing - 2010-11-23

There are people who try to educate today's youth on the video games of yesteryear - and you can still pick up original NES carts and systems at stores these days (though it's easier and free just to emulate). Most people have some older sibling or an uncle or some older friend, possibly even a creepy neighbor, who tries to educate them on "the good stuff" so kids don't grow up thinking Pokemon is awesome. It's a valuable public service, and some kids slip through the cracks, but rest assured, not everyone grows up thinking that stuff that came out before they were born is dumb.

Xenocide - 2010-11-23

Those kids also recognized In the Hall of the Mountain King, which predates Mario by a good decade or ten. Don't sell them short.

Old_Zircon - 2010-11-23

I want to hear him do Mother by Danzig (with vocals).

kingofthenothing - 2010-11-23

I'd rather hear him do some less-known Danzig song like "Brand New God" or something to creep the audience out.

simon666 - 2010-11-23

"Texas is the Reason" by the Misfits.

Old_Zircon - 2010-11-23

Soul On Fire or Snakes of Christ would also be good.

Pillager - 2010-12-14

That's "Bullet", simon666.

memedumpster - 2010-11-23

These are fun instruments, and you can hear one clean across a museum.

astropod five - 2010-11-23

so I guess 6 stars for the music and minus one for that face he makes the whole time

Nikon - 2010-11-23

I liked this a lot.

And Then Explosions - 2010-11-23

Based on the title alone I knew that "Final Countdown" would be in there somewhere.

Kumquatxop - 2010-11-29

. . . . spatulas?

goat - 2010-12-23

I was pretty impressed until he hit Crazy Train, then I almost broke my monitor trying to high five my screen.
