Sort of an elegiac version of voyeurism, beautiful and vaguely intrusive. We speed by folks but also expect that others speed past us and we are safe from their gaze. This is how superman/god/death sees us, presumably. #pretentiouspoetvcomments

Why do the lights look like that? Is it the "120Hz fluorescent flicker" thing slowed down enough to be noticeable?
Robin: yep, although since it's the UK it would be 50/100 Hz
