1) Christian beliefs are filled with hatred and intolerance. Your holy book tells you to murder in the name of God too, most of you just too lazy, disingenuous and apathetic to actually do it.
2) Christians don't have to strap bombs to people to influence society in a negative way. You do far more effectively with billions of dollars in propaganda and political offices.
3) Jesus Christ, if he existed, certainly did not found Christianity in the same way that Muhammad founded Islam. Christian beliefs were constructed over hundreds of years by people and institutions of staggering corruption. "Compare the founders" is a meaningless statement.

IrishWhiskey - 2011-08-09 If you count Revelation, there's tons of commandments to murder innocents. If you don't, the NT creates new orders on slavery, castration, rape and spousal abuse. Of course, Jesus specifically affirms that the Old Testament's rules on murder are good and still valid. For example:
"For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men." [Jesus] said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother; and 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.' "
