Hey, i like the game, it's flawed and everything but it has many cool parts too. The only Final Fantasy games i seriously disliked are X-2 and XIII on the basis of how boring and tedious they are. It is weird, for some reason this game just left a mark so strong in the brains of so many people. Not just in the west but in japan too. The hype behind it, the"OMG CGI MOVIES IN AN RPG!" and other stuff seems to be partially responsible for the cult of this game.
