I can't help but think that if this was real, these two guys would be prolific poeTV posters.

I probably could have told you that from the preload image.

I saw this movie when i was a child. I have memories of watching it but recall no details about the film at all.

Same here. You'd think a movie about a boy and his dragon wouldn't have turned out so damn boring.

Back in college I had a couple friends who had been very fond of this film as kids. One of them bought the videotape (yeah, this was some years ago) and invited me to watch it with them.

The looks on their faces when they realized the vast gulf between their memories of the film and its actual quality were sort of tragic.

I remember a bit. The Dragon is invisible and the boy gets blamed for the damage it causes. Plus people tell him it isn't real but then it is but then it has to go away so the little boy can live with the parent figures who were introduced early on.

I would've forgotten it too, but I still had the picturebook/record throughout the 80s. And yes, this was my favorite song on it.

I recall having to watch this in kindergarten on a "fun day", and even at that young age, I knew this was a sub-par effort at best.

My kindergarten didn't teach postmodern film deconstruction.

Still, I loved this flick as a kid.
