Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-04-09 I used to have a lot of respect for him when he called out the system of politicians accepting the majority of their money from corporations, and insisting that higher protocols should be placed on restricting that. As governor he made 50K a year and had to pay for all of the meals at the governor's mansion, etc. He talked about that at length and about the likelihood of politicians to accept bribes, which is to say almost all of them. The corruption is pretty rampant and I admired him for speaking out on it.
That having been said, watching this all I could do was shake my head. It kills his chances of being heard on actually important issues. Piers pretty much killed in this interview, though I wish he hadn't called Jesse a coward because seriously that was out of line. You're already winning the argument, don't be a douche.

He has some good intentions, but he's suffering from what every 50+ white American male suffers from (and none are immune): ornery hyperbolic opinion based strawman arguing. He makes points, but then when asked to reasonably explain he just goes rogue and flies all over the place carpet bombing questions with other questions.
I wish when he was governor he had put the rifle training aside and instead went into basic speech and debate class instead.
