Okay as bizarre as this infomercial (?) is. I rescued a basenji, and the rescue provided a thunder shirt with the adoption. Our dog is skittish, most likely the victim of past abuse. This thing actually does work for our dog. It completely calms her down in regular situations and if she's in a really frightening situation, she just gets mildly upset instead of freaking out and trying to run away. I don't know how it actually works on thunder storms, because thunder is, strangely one of the three things on Earth she's NOT afraid of.
It was never my suggestion that this product doesn't work. I instead thought that this product (and by extension, the informercial) were really fucking weird.
I have a simpler solution: don't get a retarded dog. They're like a toddler with Down's that never grows up. 5 for cashing in on the aimless stupidity of our society.
Yeah, what's with these people who get companion animals? Losers. And THEN they're dumb enough to have "compassion" for that animal when it's scared? Fuck them.
