Mikey's parents are actually conceptual artists who will smack you if you ever accuse them in engaging in something as plebeian as business.
I loved when things in the 90's were trying to appeal to 20 somethings they would put slogans or whatever in the center of the screen as if constrained by an invisible box. It perfectly antiquates every advertisement.
Actually the 90's version of the internet required a carraige return between every ".".

TVs also had smaller safe frames back then because of CRT monitor distortion.

"I'd like to go to bed, but there's a shitty comedian in it."

"Bill Hicks is in your bed?"

This was about as inappropriate as Dennis Leary in Demolition Man.

"Mr. Leary, why is it you thought it was acceptable to come over to the house of a ten year old to discuss the way corporations utilize the internet?"

"Hey Hansen, go to bed!"

"Mr. Leary that won't work on me."

"Yeah well-" (runs away)
