Definitely watch in full screen. All stars for "...".
People need to fuck off with this whole retro gaming thing - it's more than run it's course.

Thanks for your input

"I'm tired of people taking media, recontextualizing it and reinventing it so that it becomes an artform completely separate from what it was originally. Present me with more entertainment so that I can get tired of that too."

I really, really like this video a lot. It's fun and has great voice acting on the bad guy's part and it was just a lot of fun to watch.

The thing I didn't like was the message I took away from it. Is it implied that the bad guy is a money hungry type who wants to get rid of the old style of games in favor of generic shooters and HD games? And aren't 8bit games becoming more and more popular with the whole "retro" thing that's been going on?
I would not say that there is a love for "retro" as much as system limitations in mobile devices and casual gaming time priorities making simple 2d games like Angry Birds such a hit.

Can it be considered retro if the target market cares not for past games that were like it?

+2 for YMCK! Everything good about this borrows from other sources without adding anything of stylistic or substantive value.
