Pretty sure that's Alan Hunter, one of the original VJs from MTV. Looks like he hooked whatever remained of his brief stardom to the wrong horse. Repeatedly.

VR is comprised of 99% fractals apparently. The only VR that would be worth while is the kind from Virtuosity (and Married with Children) where you go into a lucid dream state and can nail hot chicks.

Physically, it is a much better concept than the Virtual Boy. No stand and it actually attaches to your head.
