This is everything British in a Star Trek nutshell. Utility Deregulation (giving advanced technology to the Scots); Cross-dressing (transporter malfunction); Stiff Upper Lip (Red Shirts Left Behind); Useless Colloquial Coliteration (Brolly, Wally); Culture stuck in the 90s (I've got the power!); Obsession With the Weather (meteor shower).

It's a perfect storm.

Star Trek is made for adults so it's ok to rage hard about the factual inconsistancies presented in this short clip.

Surely that is the wrong Enterprise for not only the layout of engineering but also for the time period from which the uniforms originate from?

Idiot. The TNG engine room set was used in Undiscovered Country as the engine room of the Enterprise A. It was itself constructed using pieces of the Sickbay set in Star Trek I. EVERYONE knows that.

Another example of Doohan fucking with Shatner because he hated him.
