Mike Tyson?! - 2011-11-06 I've driven both gasoline and diesel trucks and left both idling while loading trailers or leaving the battery charged, etc. The diesels always used less fuel. There you go!

While touring one summer, we didn't have a place to sleep, so we just pulled over into a truck stop, parked between a couple of big rigs, and slept in our van. The trucks idled all night and made sleep nearly impossible due to the noise and the heat coming off of the things. I just figured they didn't burn any fuel while idling.

I really hate those people who get all "don't touch me" when they go on their sanctimonious rants.
