FACT: Korean Marcus Aurelius wrote Das Kapital which is really an allegory about Korea reclaiming ancient of Hyperborea also known as Gor from the Morlocks also known as the "japanese".

EvilHomer - 2011-11-13

Just to recap: the Japanese think Korea stole it's culture from Japan. The Koreans think Japan stole it's culture from Korea. I thought they both stole their cultures from China, but what do I know.

I bet this guy works as a bouncer,

Riskbreaker - 2011-11-13

Then chinese people claim they invented pretty much everything in both the ancient and modern world. They are also obsessed with celebrities, and gambling.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-13

They all need to shut up and realize America is the greatest.

Riskbreaker - 2011-11-13

Also, this guy is probably a coast guard.

spikestoyiu - 2011-11-13

Koreans believe the Japanese stole everything from them and vice-versa. But they all begrudgingly admit that the Japanese are at the top of the Asian food chain.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-11-13

In actuality, there was a lot of cross-cultural exchanges going both ways. But, generally the direction was from China to Korea and from there to Japan. Japan didn't really influence China a tiny bit though, well... until they invaded it.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-13

China is the new top of the food chain. You're still living in the 90s Spikes.

Riskbreaker - 2011-11-13

I don't think that having pieces of factory workers on a food chain is good for your health.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-13

That's what puts China on top. Japan and Korea use up too many resources caring for workers, the elderly, and the environment.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-13

For being godless Communists, economically they're living the Republican dream.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-11-13

The Republican dream is to exploit workers, violate human rights, suppress freedom of information, and destroy the environment? Yeah, I guess that sounds about right.

Aelric - 2011-11-13

Asia is a right wingers wet dream, but only by degrees. Japan's business caste leaving corporations at the top of the food chain, combined with Korea's natural hyper-nationalism and moral conservatism and rounded out by China's absolute disregard for the poor and working class.

the downfalls from the repub standpoint would be, respectively, oddball sexuality pervading the mainstream culture in Japan, welfare and education safety nets for lower class workers in Korea and government involvement in absolutely everything in China.

If there is one thing to be learned by all these videos, it's that northern Asians do everything in the extreme, all the way the most narrowminded, focused way. That has it's merits, but not staying power, especially when it comes to historical arguments.

and yes, they are all ethnically Chinese if you go back far enough. Same for a big chunk of ASEAN countries, too, though they are more the result of mixing with islanders and colonialists. And in 20 years time, they will all likely be run by Chinese installed governments anyway.

Sanest Man Alive - 2011-11-13

The history nerds' equivalent of arguing who would win in a fight between Goku and Superman.

Sudan no1 - 2011-11-13

Why can't Tea Partiers be this cute?
