Obviously you aren't from Seattle. This is every Washingtonian at the first sight of snow. This is the news warning us of a light dusting and people lining up at Eddie Bauer buying Yaktrax by the dozen, getting battery operated lights at Lowe's, needlessly buying a generator, stocking up on canned food and taking cash out of their bank account in case the power goes out so they can still buy groceries. We have chains on their tires during our rainy season "just in case" and leave them on until spring.
