No, it isn't "doomsday," but it might be a decade of Depression, great undulations of angry mobs making great changes to policy that you might not really like. There is a possibility for class war, and culture war, if things ever get as bad as they did in 1930. That's about as close to doomsday as you can get short of starting WWIII, which might actually happen if we attack Iran, at least according to a recent confession by a Chinese general.
The job news was pretty nice today. Small business added a whole lot of jobs, but I don't think the fundamental issues of our financial sector's sickness can be helped by small business. It's a country of cartels and that's who's going to bring us down.
