I have seen exactly this sort of quarter-assed day-of farce of a thesis lecture go applauded more times than I care to recall. I think a lot of professors take this interweb culture biz completely on faith. You'd think the cats would tip them off though! The cats!! COME ON!!!

I mean, it's not going to win these chicks anything... but starting around halfway through it starts to become clear they know what they're talking about and can do linguistical analysis... which is sort of the point yeah?
