It's not too unusual. Look at all the bodice-ripper wank-fantasy novels conservatives like Gingrich and Lynn Cheney have authored over the years. That much public repression has got to vent somewhere.
I think what's more telling is all the weird "Hitler won WWII and the world is better for it" alternate history fiction Gingrich has slapped his name on.
I wonder if the hosts at TBN knew Harland Sanders was born and raised in Indiana or that the first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise is in Salt Lake City, Utah. Still you have to admire a man who can give gigantic amounts of his own money to help people.
Not when it's a tax write-off and they admit that sharing and helping the needy is not their goal, it's just that someone is threatening to torture and kill them which is why they're funneling money into this person's organizations so it only helps certain people. 'Cause that's not charity, that's blackmail.
"Admire" is something I'd save for "If God doesn't want to help these people then I will, and I don't care if you say I'm going to Hell for it."
