I wonder if any of them know what the hell megaupload really is.
I'm pretty sure every person in the video (except for Jamie Foxx and the creator/his kid) has all of their works on megaupload, being downloaded as we speak.

This is like getting feminists to sign a petition to "end women's suffrage" by making them think it helps end suffering of women.

Pillager - 2012-01-22

They have more money than they'll ever know what to do with.

What do they care?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-01-22

If it makes them look cool in front of young people they figure that will earn them cool points as they age inexorably into fossilhood.

SolRo - 2012-01-22

Except piracy isnt as bad as the MPAA told you.

Old_Zircon - 2012-01-22

Nobody comes out of this looking good, except possibly Snoop.

Fascinating - I had no idea he was such a cunt. I wonder what scam he'll pull next once the Megaupload storm blows over.

Hooker - 2012-01-22

I'm sorry. Are we now siding with the US government on this?

StanleyPain - 2012-01-22

I don't agree with what the government is doing, but it is funny to see a lot of people who probably don't really understand what's going on putting their names to this just to get some press and think they're on the side of the "cool kids and their vidya gamez" or whatever.

So he's a shifty weirdo, thus the MPAA and RIAA must be justified in trying to revoke the freedom we currently enjoy on the internet?

Really?

What kind of asperger'y logic is that?

Regarding copyright issues and digital rights management as it currently exists, the internet was summarily ignored and marginalized for the most part during the mid 90s.

These corporate interests basically "missed the boat", when it came to embracing this form of new media, lost a lot more than they might have in being poised to adapt their business strategy in the wake of the late 90s.

This guy is merely a strawman in an attempt to preserve entitlements that they simply don't deserve anymore. Technology advanced, they didn't. Wah, wah, boo hoo.

I am so goddamn in lust for Alicia Keys that I stopped trying to figure out if this was sincere or ironic as soon as she came on and enjoyed.

Casual Tea Party - 2012-01-23

Weird that the majority of celebrities in this video are hip-hop artists, especially considering that Swizz Beats is the rumored owner of megaupload behind the scenes
