I love the asperger rage this game is causing the sim community. So, because Flight is relatively accessible to the general public and you can simply fly around and have fun without having to spend 30 minutes flipping switches just to turn your plane on it's not suitably "sim" enough, so of course the mere mention of this game results in beardo fits of anger about how FLIGHT SIMULATOR 20XX IS THE TRUE FLIGHT SIM FOR THE DISCERNING ARMCHAIR PILOT HURGH BLURRGH

Void 71 - 2012-03-15 When you strip a flight sim of all the nerdy shit that turns off normal people, you end up with Google Earth: Airplane Edition. I never liked flight sims, but I can see where hardcore sim fans are coming from. It's not like they have a lot of games to choose from anymore.

StanleyPain - 2012-03-15 From what I've read, they didn't really "strip" anything, they just put in a bunch of options for players to automate all of the complex stuff so that ordinary people can just take off and fly with about as much skill as it takes to fly a plane in something like Battlefield 3 or whatever.
If you really WANT to play it with all the hardcore pilot stuff, it's still there as I understand it.
