The 80's were a horrible torrent of greed and consumption that we will never fully recover from.

Oh jeezus christ, another repressed memory from summer vacation. How do I remember this? It's not like I watched this, is it? I was like 15 when this was on, probably!

its like jem and the bratz dolls had babies
|
dead_cat - 2012-03-25 NO, it doesn't even have the dignity of Jem (now there's a phrase I never thought would get used), since these goddamn little bastards aren't richer than god for being insanely popular and successful musicians -- or for doing any other sort of highly-paid labor -- they're just rich little bastards.

The children of the rich tend to fall into two categories.
The Paris, the spoiled, out-of-touch dicksmear content to ride the gravy train and accomplish nothing for the duration of their existence.
And the Spielberg, the lunatic over-achiever who may wind up doing mom an dad one better, but spend most of their childhood in an Aspergers-worthy, self-imposed lack of socialization out of their pursuit of future excellence.
Neither is worth making a show about.
