John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-07-09
Opened in December, closed in January. Thirty regular performances, which is nine less performances than the number of videos in the show's youtube account.
It looks llke the reviews were actually pretty good, but the commercial makes it look like an ugly misogynist nightmare.
I've only been one Broadway show in my whole life, so I'm talking out my ass, but I think the Aristophanes connection was overplayed. The original title was "Give it Up" , and that might have worked. People who care about the original enough to be impressed by the lineage are going to be annoyed by the trivialization of the subject matter. If "Forbidden Planet" had been called "Space Tempest", that would have cheapened everything.

Spoonybard - 2012-07-10 Fairly certain this couldn't be more of an ugly misogynist nightmare than Aristophanes' original

That guy - 2012-07-10 spoony you're a friggin' idiot

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-07-10 I'm fairly certain that it must be. Women manipulating men by withholding sex in order to get the basketball team to win games is by definition more petty and trivial than women doing the same thing to end a war.

Syd Midnight - 2012-07-15 Also misleading on the part of the narrator, as the ability to make 3-pointers is much more instrumental to winning basketball games than frequency of sex, in fact the latter is dependent upon the former.

Killer Joe - 2012-07-09
Read it as "Lysteria Jones"

I hope no one is talking my statement about TFL Bill at face value. He does not have a point. It's just that this really looks like his view of the world. I could see this clip turning up in his next video.
