Yes

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-07-11

Since they still havent put seasons 4 and 5 on Netflix, I'm not going to watch this but I can safely 5 star it anyway.

jangbones - 2012-07-11

Season 4 is available for completely free and (currently) legal download on some website with a pirate ship on the front page

deadpan - 2012-07-11

I drifted away midway through the third season but I guess I should check this out again.

FABIO - 2012-07-11

I drifted away sometime around the whole Jesse's property manager plot.

And Jesus I cannot stand any scene with Skyler or her sister.

FABIO - 2012-07-11

So it picks up again? Should I skip ahead?

CornOnTheCabre - 2012-07-11

Yeah, most definitely keep going. I was not a fan of the Property Manager stuff at all (even with Bonus Angry Dad Q) and Skyler and her sister are downright unbearable early on -- but looking back as someone who is obsessed with the show now, there's not a whole lot of easy cuts I'd be at all comfortable with suggesting.

spikestoyiu - 2012-07-11

I can't think of a better single season of television than season 4.

Spoonybard - 2012-07-12

Pick it up again at S02E11, Mandala, which introduces a major character. Jane is gone by the end of S02E12.

James Woods - 2012-07-11

Fear is the real enemy.

catpenis27 - 2012-07-11

I realized only yesterday that Walt is the dad from Malcolm in the Middle.

Bort - 2012-07-11

I like to pretend that, when Hal is allegedly at work, this is his secret other life.

jangbones - 2012-07-11

It is inevitable that season 6 will end with Walter White dying, then waking up next to Lois and telling her about the weird dream he just had

Hooker - 2012-07-11

Walter White and Vic Mackey are the two best tragic characters in a long time. There are brilliant novels from brilliant minds that don't have protagonists as strong and that fall so far as those two.

I'm going to be really dissapointed when this show is over.

Bort - 2012-07-11

"Breaking Bad" is the utopia for folks who hate paying taxes so much, they'd rather have a society that can't maintain some kind of order.

fourthguy - 2012-07-11

???

Bort - 2012-07-11

All the shit that they go through, trying to engage in commerce without recourse to the police ... that's how just about all commerce would end up if we followed through on the Teabaggerly dream of defunding virtually everything.

Adham Nu'man - 2012-07-11

This show is set in the world we live in now. We do pay taxes, 90 fucking billion to this retarded war. This violence in this show is America's reality, but we don't even begin to pay the cost of the drug war. Outside America it's several wars worth of suffering.

This war is as much about public safety as the Iraq war was about our freedom. For the record, Methamphetamine is one of the few drugs we actually had the ability to eradicate. Congress voted repeatedly to regulate rather than outright ban the precursor for methamphetamine. It's too late now, new processes don't require the same precursor, but it's hard to take this drug war seriously after that.

00 to rat out a marijuana grower in Washington, by the way. You won't get a dime for ratting out a meth lab.

FABIO - 2012-07-11

This show kind of alternates between dumb and brilliant when it comes to pointing out the insane hypocrisy of the drug war.

It's dumb whenever the point comes from Skyler's mouth (like everything else from her character).

It was understated and brilliant during that one (season 2?) scene where it starts on an extreme closeup of colored crystals that you assume are meth, until it zooms out and you see it's ice for margaritas at the family barbeque..

Juice Eggs McKenna - 2012-07-13

The bit with Hank's home brew setup was similarly awesome

sosage - 2012-07-11

This is one of those shows I came close to giving up on in the first season, but holy shit am I glad I didn't. The snowball effect keeps getting larger and larger and the main character's break down keeps getting harsher and harsher.

FABIO - 2012-07-11

Huh. I gave up for a while too, but that was part way through season 2. I thought the entirety of season 1 was a brilliant escalation of events the quality of which you usually don't see outside a Cohen brothers movie.

jreid - 2012-07-11

Henry M. gets an automatic 5. The well cut BB montage is grave. So much gravy.

jreid - 2012-07-11

*Ennio, *gravy... fucking iPhone

deadpan - 2012-07-11

I assumed Henry M. was the underwhelming name of whoever made this remix and grave was some new slang the kids are using today

FABIO - 2012-07-11

"Gravy on the cake."

-Ray "Leland Palmer" Wise

Louis Armstrong - 2012-07-12

Five for METH-od Acting.
