I have been a fan of ramsay's kitchen nightmares since the beginning, when the british version had access to all of BBC's ironic music (literally every song ever recorded was used on the original.) And this is more painful to watch than ANY of the original episodes... This has a combination of awful that usurps any previous notion of white entitlement and northeastern incompetence. I have so much hatred towards these people, and one hour is only enough for HALF of this episode...
I didn't want Ramsay to return. I wanted him to let these fuckers hang for their sins. I think the worst part of it is Ramsay's "solution" lets them keep their snobbery intact... the "locals tavern" is completely segregated from the restaurant, so the faggy owner can still maintain his delusions.
"Why are you selecting RANDOM people to turn into smoked meat treats? I mean, you have no bloody idea about the quality of the meat you're getting! You need to be more selective. I mean, your name is on this stuff. Show a bit of pride!"
"And look at this. Look at the state of the place. It's no wonder you have to go all the way to the highway to find victims. Do you think a happy, healthy family is going to stay at this place? That fucking sign hasn't stopped flickering since I got here!"
The whole time I was watching the two episodes I kept hoping that the workers would take his antiques and sell them to make up for their shitty pay. Then they all find out that the crap he's bought is mostly fake and worthless.
My favorite part is in episode two, when Robert's art and antiques are appraised by a professional and turn out to be copies and reproductions worth 10% of what he supposed. Oops.
