I'll never forget the conspiracy theorist roommate of mine who tried to convince me that the sunlight reflecting off Kellerman's head right was in fact the glint of a pistol that the driver used to shoot Kennedy. Jackie got on the trunk to try and run away from him! It was obviously the Illuminati since the guy did it in plain sight and got away with it!

I think Dave Chappelle said it best "Oswald acted alone~ and he used magic bullets. Yes, magic is real and we have know of it's existence for quite some time."

"the magic bullet" has been accounted for, by the way. There are computer animations showing the bullet going through all those spots.

It all seems unlikely... but compared to what? It's weird that the bullet popped out on a stretcher looking pristine, so what does that mean? Did somebody plant the bullet there, and why? Just to fuck with everybody's head? Does that really seem more plausible?

But really, what did we know about how bullets travel in 1963? Did any bullet trajectory ever get such scrutiny before? If a bullet passed through two people at several different points in the middle of a a war, would it seem sinister? It seems to me like I've heard plenty of weird bullet stories.

The more you look, the more it llooks like everything is just how it looks.

By 1970 his death was indelibly associated with Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King's assassinations, which didn't help. It was a bloody decade to be an American.

The whole magic bullet thing is horseshit based on a lie by Robert Groden, who in a drawing puts Connally directly in front of JFK. In real life, there was an offset inward with Connally shifted inboard and downward. Yes, computer modeling based on the true position of the people involved takes a lot of the magic out of it. And Stone used Groden as an adviser and placed the people the same way.

And the bullet wasn't pristine. It lost a portion of its mass, as is well-documented and photographed. Just not in the photograph the enthusiasts usually go yapping about.

I've heard all of the various conspiracy theories and various individuals own personal variations on them - LBJ for instance was either the head of the conspiracy to kill JFK, or just another co-conspirator, Hoover knew all about it but chose to remain silent because he saw JFK as a security threat, it was because one of his mistresses was a radical peacnik and was starting to turn him to her political POV, it was because he was about to blow the lid off of the truth about UFOs, it was revenge for this or that, it was the Cubans (either Castro or the anti-Castro crowd), the Russians, the Mob, a cabal of shadowy right-wingers or a vast interlocking group with shared interests consisting of everyone from reactionary military insiders to Big Oil to Canadian industrialists to various foreign interests who all decided that JFK had to go, so why not team up on this project?

Did you see where the old guy said he saw someone carrying "a small machine gun?" or the guy testifying in front of congress about his umbrella? Nothing is too absurd for serious consideration.
