I love how the lion looks over at the camera right before pouncing like "Hey, y'all, watch this!"

Jesus, it's like she's going out of her way to look like prey.

Father Avalanche - 2012-09-23 That was the 'injured kudu' pose.
Also, that guy just kicked a lion in the face.

Dupe. However, the tags don't match up, so a justifiable dupe. Linking to the original video since there were some good comments on there.

Maybe she should do a little yoga to relax.

Counterpoint: if you're going to do yoga production in front of a lion, *always film it*.

Yoga is good for the appetite.

In retrospect, this was probably a bad idea.

Here's a more complete version. It answers some of the question. For one thing, it wasn't a yoga demonstration, it was a martial art demonstration.

spikestoyiu - 2012-09-23 I can't imagine anyone thinking that this is what yoga looks like, but here we are.
|
Oscar Wildcat - 2012-09-23 A martial art that makes you look like wounded prey is likely not a good art to marshal. That thing the lion is doing, that kicks ass!

Change - 2012-09-23 When the woman bows, she bows like a monkey. She is uncertain, and careless. The lion is certain and alert. He does not hesitate - when he sees the monkey prepare herself for war, he strikes, cleanly and directly. It takes three men to stop the lion. Only one lion was needed to stop the woman.
Do not be the woman - do not be the monkey. Be the lion.

If I think of this in terms of a housecat, it seems like the lion is playing. Every cat I've ever owned would have done exactly the same thing. They wouldn't have been able to help themselves.
