I remember back in the 80s they sold toucans at the pet store in the mall.

Based on the woman's outfit, I'd say this bird is part of an act.

That said, they look like fun pets. Feeding them all that rainbow-colored cereal might get expensive after a while, though.

If I had more money, time and space, I would certainly own a toucan. They're much friendlier than parrots.

I used to have a decorative life-sized papier mache toucan with real feathers on his body who sat in a hanging perch. I wonder where I put it?

It's a good thing they don't have an evil sense of humor like parrots, because toucans can rotate their ass in a hemispherical arc of fire, allowing them to shit sideways like a bombers gun turret. So it is important to stay on friendly terms with them.
